Data Container Stages

The data container stages are steps that deal with the data (employee file and transaction files) that will be applied to all plan containers (and plans) within the data container.  Processing the data is divided into multiple stages to ensure imported data is complete and complies with the format and content necessary throughout myAAP.

Action Center - Optional stage that can be used to run the atomic process for the selected data container or create a new one before running the atomic process.

Create Data Container - Used to create a new data container.

Edit Data Container - Used to edit the selected existing data container.

Import Data - Used to import data for employees, applicants, hires, promotions, and terminations.

Data Type Checks - Checks the imported data files for missing required fields and unacceptable content.

Data Transfer Checks - Checks the imported data files for content that cannot successfully be loaded into internal tables and files.

Map Data - Used to map values in the imported data to the corresponding values/codes used in myAAP (i.e., gender, race, etc.).

Edit / View / Export Data - Optional stage that can be used to review modify, or export data that has been imported into myAAP.

Transfer Data - Used to transfer data into the myAAP database once it has been imported, checked, and mapped.

Create Plan Container - Used to create a plan container to house your AAP(s) and complete the myAAP process after data has been successfully transferred into the myAAP database.
