Transfer Data

This stage deals with the data imported into the data container (data that is used by all plan containers and plans within the data container).  Once all data has been imported, properly mapped, and checked by myAAP, this stage is used to transfer the data into the myAAP database.  This process may take several minutes (or more, depending on the size of the imported files).

Each imported file must be transferred separately.  To transfer your data, select a file from the Data File Selected dropdown and click Begin Data Transfer.

NOTE: Files in red text have been imported but need to be transferred.  Once a file has been successfully transferred, it will appear in green text.  The number next to the file name indicates how many records the file contains.

Once your file has transferred successfully, a notification will appear in the bottom right corner of the screen.  If an error occurs, a notification will appear that says ”Error transferring data”.  If this happens, check your import file to ensure the data within meets the specifications noted in the Import Files section.  Once you have fixed any errors, you may begin the transfer again.

IMPORTANT: Once data has been transferred, any changes to the records must be made by updating your file, re-importing and transferring (recommended), or in the Edit / View / Export Data stage.
