Compensation Analysis

This report shows the difference between the salaries of the groups selected.

The information below is included for each selected group ( Job Group, EEO Category, or Pay Grade, depending on the selection made in the report's Properties window).  For each of the selected groups, the report shows information for each target group (either Male vs. Female or Non-minority vs. Minority, depending on the selection).

  • Count (#) - The number of employees in the target group.
  • Salary ($) - Average salary of all employees in the target group.
  • Difference ($) - Difference in average salary between the comparison groups in dollars.
  • Difference (%) - Difference in average salary between the comparison groups as a percentage.
  • Difference >= X.X%? - This is a YES or NO answer as to whether the Difference (%) exceeds the Salary Difference Threshold % designated in the report properties.
  • Tenure - Difference in tenure between the comparison groups in years.

General Report Options

Fill in the desired report title, header, footer, and select desired display options (suppress snapshot/plan date, print page numbers, allow text wrap, show report created on date).

Report-Specific Options

Comparison Groups - Select the groups for comparison in the report: Male vs. Female or Non-minority vs. Minority.

Analysis Type - Select either Mean or Median.

NOTE: At this time, the OFCCP is focused primarily on the Mean analysis type.

Group Category - Select the groups to be analyzed: Job Group, EEO Category, or Pay Grade.

Salary Dif. Threshold % - Enter the desired percentage.  Salaries with a difference below this number will not be included in the report.
