Final Availability File

The final availability file should define how often your organization recruits from each availability factor (local, reasonable, internal) for all job groups in each plan.  The total weight of all factors combined for a given job group must equal 100%.

The table below lists possible fields for the final availability file.  Field names in bold text are required fields for import.  Data in the files can contain letters, numbers, or both unless specifically noted.

IMPORTANT: There is no field mapping for the final availability file.  This means that the fields must be named exactly as listed below (not case-sensitive) in order to import properly.

Field Name Max Length Req'd? Description
Plan Name 128 N The plan to which the job group belongs.  If this field is left blank, this file will be considered a ”universal” file, and the information will be applied to every plan in the plan container. When a universal file format is used and the total availability weight for a job group is less than 100%, the remaining weight will be automatically redistributed among the availability factors in the job group.
Job Group Code 50 Y
The job group code to which the final availability weights will be applied.
Local Weight 7 Y
Weight representing how often an opening in the job group would be filled from the local recruitment area.  If there is no local labor area for the given job group, put a 0 in this column.
NOTE: Weights must be entered as whole numbers with up to two decimal places.
Reasonable Weight 7 Y
Weight representing how often an opening in the job group would be filled from the reasonable recruitment area.  If there is no reasonable labor area for the given job group, put a 0 in this column.
NOTE: Weights must be entered as whole numbers with up to two decimal places.
Feeder Weight 7 Y
Weight representing how often an opening in the job group would be filled from within the company.  If there are no feeders for the given job group, put a 0 in this column.
NOTE: Weights must be entered as whole numbers with up to two decimal places.
Additional Weight 7 N
Weight representing how often an opening in the job group would be filled from an additional applicant pool.
NOTE: Weights must be entered as whole numbers with up to two decimal places.
