Labor Areas File
The labor areas file should define labor areas for job groups in all plans.
The table below lists possible fields for the labor areas file. Field names in bold text are required fields for import. Data in the files can contain letters, numbers, or both unless specifically noted.
IMPORTANT: There is no field mapping for the labor areas file. This means that the fields must be named exactly as listed below (not case-sensitive) in order to import properly. Also be sure to code your data according to the acceptable values listed (if any).

Plan Name | 128 | N | The plan to which the job group belongs. If this field is left blank, this file will be considered a ”universal” file, and the information will be applied to every plan in the plan container. |
Job Group Code | 50 | Y | The job group code to which the labor area will be applied. |
Assignment Type | 10 | Y | Value indicating the type of labor area. Acceptable values are LOCAL or REASONABLE. |
Factor Name | 9 | Y | Value indicating the data used to determine the labor area. Acceptable values are EMPLOYEE (uses employee zip codes to determine local labor area), APPLICANT (uses applicant zip codes to determine local labor area), or NATIONAL (uses national census data). |
