Data Collection Analysis/Hiring Benchmark (Protected Veterans)

This report displays information regarding the applicants and hires who identify as Protected Veterans within the organization, and the percentage of Protected Veterans hired in comparison to the Veteran Hiring Benchmark established by the OFCCP (currently 6.7%).

Under Subpart C of VEVRAA regulations, contractors are required to collect the following data, which is displayed in the report and calculated as follows:

  • Job Openings - Count of all hires + all promotions (competitive + non-competitive + transfers) + all applicants for a unique job/job code without a match in the hires and promotions files.
  • Jobs Filled - Count of all hires + all promotions (competitive + non-competitive + transfers).
  • Applicants for all jobs - Count of all applicants.
  • Applicants who self-identified as Protected Veterans - Count of all applicants in a plan with protected veteran status of ”Yes” in the applicant file.
  • Applicants Hired - Count of all hires + competitive promotions.
  • Protected Veterans Hired - Count of all hires + competitive promotions with protected veteran status of ”Yes”.
  • Overall protected veterans hired (%) - Count of Protected Veterans Hired divided by Applicants Hired.

General Report Options

Fill in the desired report title, header, footer, and select desired display options (suppress snapshot/plan date, print page numbers, allow text wrap, show report created on date).

Report-Specific Options

Job Groups - Check ”Show Job Group breakdown” to include incumbency information for each job group.

Trending - Use the ”Prior Year 1” and ”Prior Year 2” dropdowns to select prior years for report trending.

NOTE: Previous Years must have a generated Data Collection Analysis/Hiring Benchmark (Protected Veterans) report.

Benchmark - This will default to the current hiring benchmark established by the OFCCP.  You may also choose to use your own custom benchmark.

Report Counts - Choose whether you would like myAAP to generate the counts listed above using your imported data, or select Manual Counts to enter the counts yourself.
